The e-famous internet phenomena known as Crackychan. Crackychan herself doesn't hold that much interest for me, much moreso the internet madness surrounding her.
I think that's where the interest stems from - what is at the root of this obsession? Is it a mass mentality reaction to what is accepted as a popular meme, or is there some genuine X factor that I'm missing that appeals to so many?
If it's any consolation to you, I doubt you'll have to worry about seeing her wearing EGL dresses anytime soon. I'd imagine she's now a cameraphobic and housebound for fear of getting brutalized/molested/worse by half the interbutt.
I remember reading about that. E-drama is boring, but I find the psychology behind it morbidly fascinating.
I suppose there's the whole thing of "she posted stuff, she brought it on herself," but she was just a kid. Kids do stupid stuff. Unfortunately the internet allows kids to do stupid stuff on a global scale. Luckily, in five years time nobody will remember her. Huzzah for the internets.
Plus, yes, I must see Hard Candy. I saw the movie review of it and it looks hell creepy!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The fact that some people dedicate boards to her is creepy enough. I feel kind of bad for her for a second, then I dont.
It's kind of like Hard Candy! (If you havent seen the movie, go see it!)
